Fall Mini-Conference in Novi
Over
75 people were in attendance. Presentations were given by Susan
Lancaster, Assistant City Attorney with the City of Troy
on criminal misdemeanor citations and Thomas Schultz, Partner
with Secrest/Wardle on civil infractions. The afternoon
session consisted of a mock trial on a misdemeanor citation
and a formal hearing on a civil infraction presided over
by Judge Nancy Carniak with the 52nd District Court, 3 Division
from Rochester Hills.

The Mid-Michigan Chapter of MACEO was
established in 2005, to enable our members in the mid and
upper Michigan areas to meet on a quarterly basis in a more
accessible location. This year four meetings were held, one
in Midland and three in Mt. Pleasant.
The goal of this Chapter is to meet 3 to
4 times each year to provide training and networking to their
members.
All members of MACEO may attend any of
the meetings. If you would like to be included on the mailing
